Aniplex of America Announces Resident Evil: Survival Unit Mobile Strategy Game
Aniplex of America announced during its games panel at Anime Expo on Thursday a new mobile strategy game in CAPCOM's Resident Evil franchise titled Resident Evil: Survival Unit. Former Square Enix game producer and current Senior Vice President of Aniplex's ForwardWorks Room/Senior Adviser at Sony Music Entertainment Japan Shinji Hashimoto is collaborating with CAPCOM for the title as one of his projects.The strategy game will be designed specifcally for mobile users and will offer a different take from the main franchise. Hashimoto stated that the game "stays true to the essence of the franchise." The official website and social media accounts launched on Thursday.
