Well... this is for you.

At first, you are shown a guy and a girl, who are clearly living together, pretty happily if I have to add. Our ML, "Kii-kun" (I guess, it spells like "Key-kun") and FML, "Hana". Kii-kun is your typical expressionless character with a pretty good intelligent points and Hana is your typical energetic character who's basically walking wikipedia article on "how to sleep well" (and extra waifu points). Half of each chapter is information about sleeping postures, bedroom decorations, effects & defects of heavy/lack of sleep... You get the drill. It's just wiki articles recited by hot & cute woman who has some really good qualities, I suppose? Look for yourself.

The most useful part of the story is when they talk about how to sleep well, but the interesting part of the story is seeing the relationship getting unfold, despite being incestuous.

Though it's pretty obvious, the little hints it gives off is kinda cute, like the ones above. You pretty much know what it is but the little moments it gives to figure out is what I kinda like about this. No offense to anyone who likes incest but I just find it disgusting. Incest isn't my preference nor my interest, but I don't mind it as long as it doesn't make it look gross which is kinda the reason I didn't minded it in this cause the manga plays it safe and sweet. I find it disgusting because how Anime & Manga makes it to be and a lot of other gross shit I hear about it. That one koreon movie still blew my mind when I first found out the twist at the end of the movie (if you know, you know) and probably one of favourites in the regard, so it's not that I hate with passion or anything, just finds it unacceptable.

The art style, backgrounds and character designs are all OK, not bad but not particularly good to write about either, except for the FML above who's obviously the main attraction of the Manga.

The main problem I had with this is the 'misplaced' fan service. I'm using the word 'misplaced' because I'm not really against fan service, as long as it don't interfere with what I'm interested in. And this breaks that exact point. At left side you have dialogue and at the right side you have tits (nips included smh). Both are interesting and enjoyable in their own way but it's this culmination that breaks the immersion. Like, c'mon! What's your point? Showing tits or sleep advises? Definitely both can't reside in the same place. Thankfully, it only has this in only few chapters so it saved it from loosing more points.

It's pretty short, completed it in like 2-2.5 hrs probably. Maybe because I was a little stressed with my exams and stuff, this was a pretty short & sweet enjoyable read for me. And what's more perfect than sleep advise from a waifu? Anyway, that's it.

════ ⋆★⋆ ════ Considerations ════ ⋆★⋆ ════ ● __This is a spoiler-free review__ ● __70 in my scoring system means "average".__ ● I got to read this because of a funny review posted here on AL and got interested in the topic of sleep advice. ════ ⋆★⋆ ════ The Story ════ ⋆★⋆ ════ The story is centered around Kiichi. A high schooler who lives with his cousin, Hana, who also happens to be a teacher at his school. Hana is someone who loves researching sleep and acquiring sleep aid tools. There's not much to put as a synopsis as the manga just revolves around their daily lives. If I am to be totally honest with you, there's no big story in this manga. The chapters are episodic, with a little development in the relationship between both cousins. But, I am writing this review not because of the story, art, or characters. I'm doing this review because of the sleep tips it contains. Pretty much every chapter has one sleep tip. They go through sleep cycles and tips, whether it's a pillow, mattress, or routines. As someone that likes the science of sleep, I couldn't spot any mistake. The author also gives a list of books that he references when writing this work. ════ ⋆★⋆ ════ The Art Style ════ ⋆★⋆ ════ The art style on Koi to Utatane is good. They do a good job of capturing background scenes and expressions. The characters are well drawn but don't differ too much. Many of the characters have very similar hairstyles, with the only difference being their height, personal style, and hair color. ‎ Another point to add in regards to art is that whenever they're explaining tips about sleep, using acupoints, and such, they're very well detailed. I find that a good aspect of the manga. ════ ⋆★⋆ ════ The Characters ════ ⋆★⋆ ════ There are a small number of characters in this manga. Hana and Kiichi hold the spotlight, with some of her students and sleep aid supplier appearing in the background. They're not very well developed, they don't change as the series progresses, and there are only lapses of background information about both Hana and Kiichi. ‎ ════ ⋆★⋆ ════ Conclusion ════ ⋆★⋆ ════ If you're like me, you skip everything and read only the conclusion because you don't want to get spoiled with other themes. So I will try to be brief on this point: __Maybe read it.__ If you're someone that has trouble sleeping, you will get a lot of information (especially if you've never done some research on it) from this manga. __If nudity and incest are themes that you can't accept, don't read it. __ If you don't have trouble sleeping and are just looking for a romantic story, To be fair, you can find better ones out there.
