70/100A read only for those of the highest (or lowest) classContinue on AniListNow this, this is ART.
Monster Musume knows what you want and will give it to you. Are you tired of seeing the same old humans in your harem manga? Do you want to spice up your life with something different? Something... dangerous? Or maybe you've just always wanted some monster girls in your life. Either way, no longer do we have to be bound by the chains of humanity. We can now choose to throw them off and pursue the greatness that is monster girls.
In a world where monster girls exist and want to live with humans our MC find himself taking care of quite a few. In this main harem we have your snake girls, harpies, centaurs, spiders, slimes, mermaids and dullahans, each having their own paper thin personalities, but strong assets. But if you happen to not like these, you can still enjoy other types of monster girls that we see show up from time to time, like zombies, onis, doppelgangers, cyclopes, cows, goats, vampires, dryads, other snakes, and so many more.
What's that you say? What's the plot of Monster Musume? Let me ask you a better question: do you really even need a plot? The story is pretty much just slice of life with a few small arcs here and there, but that's not really the main focus. Everything about Monster Musume revolves around how many ecchi situations the MC can manage to get himself into and how many monster girls can he get to like him. Oh, so a dryad is going out of control because of the pollutants in the forest? Let's solve the problem by sucking it all out of her nipple. So you're telling me that the MC has to work on a farm with cow and sheep girls? Well what can I say besides let's start milking. I hear a spider has gone running amok because no one will accept her, so what can you do besides saying that you're a leg man and praising her for all 8 of hers? Truly this is a plot driven story.
A wise man once asked if the nipples were the only thing that people liked about To Love-Ru, and to those who would think to ask that of Monster Musume I would scoff and tell them that it is only a small portion of what makes Monster Musume the treasure that it is. The amount of censoring goes down fast as the chapters go on, leading to it to somehow become even more ecchi than you originally thought it would be. It's kind of impressive actually.
All jokes aside, this is a really trashy manga. but a lot of people want just that. So to those brave souls that can proudly admit what they are and what they want, Monster Musume is a great read. For everyone else, just stay away

Monster Musume : Everyday Life With Monster Girls)
Type : Manga
Statut : Publication
Première publication : 19 Mars 2012
Genres : Comédie, Ecchi, Fantaisie, Romance,
Harem, Slice of Life, Seinen

The Story mainly focuses on a plot devoted to encountering various Monster Girls in sexily comical scenarios in a lax slice-of-life setting. As far as being an actual character the main character kimihito isn't one which is a purposeful move on the creator as he clarifies that he even hesitated to draw his protagonist in the first place he'd rather try to make it first-person like a dating sim game so at the very least he makes his personality as bland as possible whilst also refusing to draw his pupils >OKAYADO: First of all, I didn't really want to draw even the face of the main character in Monster Musume. >So why doesn't the main character, Kimihito, have much of a personality? (laughs) Instead, the focus is mostly on the monster girls having strongly defined personalities, and this guy being the passive prey of an ever-growing assortment of aggressively amorous monster girls. OKAYADO: I wanted to do that, so readers would be able to feel some attachment to the main character easily. But I have to draw the face of my main character at the very least, so that's why I draw his face, but as a kind of compromise, I'm not drawing his eyes, so his eyes are white. <html><head><style> img { border-radius: 8px; }</style></head><body><img src="https://i.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/mobile/000/017/252/2f0.jpg" alt="Paris" width="" height=""></body></html> this is pretty indicative of what Okayado really intends this series to be the question is whether your are up to the challenge soldier --- ___<html><head><style> h1 { font-size: 100px; } h2 { font-size: 100px; } p { font-size: 100px; }</style></head><body><h1>[*If you Don't like Ecchi I recommend you GTFO*](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=32UGD0fV45g&t=63s) </h1></body></html>___ #####*talking about the appeal of ecchi* <html><head><style> img { border-radius: 8px; }</style></head><body><img src="https://i.imgur.com/YjUCOh0.png" alt="Paris" width="" height=""></body></html> before I get a headache writing this I just want to preface that Ecchi is a category that is directed at people who either don't mind or exclusively enjoy more salacious stuff in their media typically LN's, Manga's, or Anime it's a bit of a weird genre bordering on ADULT but from specific interviews with Okayado where he stipulates the requirements for passing the threshold for R rated content at least in Japan > Okayado: "The line in Japan for the “Rated R” content is having the actual sex scene or drawing what's underneath the underwear, you know, from the bottom down. Top-up is okay, bottom-down is… (laughs) We're not allowed to write nudity underneath there, from bottom-down. That's the line" [Interview Source ](https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/interview/2016-08-03/okayado-the-father-of-monster-musume/.104978) when it comes to Ecchi I have a bit of a __First-Hand__ experience (cause my other hand was busy writing this review) [images removed] Ecchi has always been to be a bit of an eye-candy genre which is why I stipulated before if you're not really into it you GTFO but there's more to it than just saucy images it's the fact that whether it's high-action anime or more low key slice of life manga https://anilist.co/anime/8074/High-School-of-the-Dead/ https://anilist.co/manga/57317/Okusan/ https://anilist.co/manga/86303/Miss-Kobayashis-Dragon-Maid/ I find Ecchi to be a complimentary genre if used boldly and with self-awareness or simply inserted into the series as a way to compliment the narrative the best example of the latter is Food Wars with how it uses Ecchi to enhance non-tangible elements of the story like the taste of food by showcasing characters erupting into nudity due to the sheer taste with a metaphorical surreal dream climax that describes the taste.
